News Bulletin: Fauzia Qamrun Tania, Director of Sonali Life Insurance PLC, has been honored with the “Sahasika 4.0 – Women Entrepreneurs Award” in recognition of her outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship and economic development.

The award was presented on Sunday (March 8) at a ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, marking International Women’s Day. The event celebrated the innovative initiatives, leadership, and achievements of women entrepreneurs across the country.

A total of eight successful women entrepreneurs from different sectors were recognized at the event for their remarkable business initiatives, contribution to employment generation, and their role in strengthening the national economy.

The program was graced by Honorable Minister of Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs, Professor Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain, as the Chief Guest. Barrister Zaima Rahman, a distinguished strategic thinker and social activist, attended the program as the Keynote Speaker.

The event was chaired by Md. Amzad Hossain Khan, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank and advisor to the Sahasika initiative.

According to the organizers, the objective of the Sahasika initiative is to bring women entrepreneurs together, strengthen their capabilities, expand networking opportunities, and support the development of future women leaders.
